Val and Nettie Kattus

Valentine (Val) Kattus was born December 26th, 1883 to Frank and Amelia Kattus. He is the older brother of Erwin Kattus. Val ran the butcher shop with his father, Frank, until his father's death. Val continued to run the butcher shop (at 1808 Linn St) for a total of 50 years.

I don't have a lot of information about he (and Nettie's) life. I do know that Val and Erwin were pretty close.

Val married Nettie June 14th, 1905. They did not have any children.

Valentine Kattus died November 29th, 1957 and Nettie died July 21, 1975. Both are interred at Vine St Hill Cemetary, Cincinnati, Ohio*
